Boggy Lake, SA, AU

A typical winter's day on a WNW. As per forecast, gusty up to around 25kts. Used 7.0 with 95l patrik but frustrating in the morning as very on/off. Then wind came through for about an hour - best part of the day. Dropped off again a bit so got the 118l and that worked well for another hour or so.

At least the weather was nice, sunny and warm for winter at 16C while it was puring and horrible in Adelaide.

Sam and I the only two sailing. Can't wait for those afternoon sea breezes!

Torbole - Lake Garda IT / South 10-18 / Blitz 136 - X-Pace 7.3

First sail on LG. It was a surreal experience and a lot to process. I hired some gear and spent a bit of time sorting that out as well as trying to get the right sizes for the thermal winds that are stronger near the sides against the mountains. You needed some float through the centre but then had to be able to handle the steep chop on the sides.  It was a slow but fun session.  There are also a lot of foilers to deal with.  It would definately be more fun on your own gear with a decent fin!

Hey MobZ, unfortunately they only hired windsurf gear for the Ora in the arvo.  You could hire foil gear in the morning but it was very light the days I could sail.  There was a pretty decent northerly with flat water the morning I left which I think sometimes happens after storms.

I saw your vid when you were traveling there the week or so before me... the scooter incidentLaughing

ah cool. I was a total larikin, going out way to early in the morning, oblivious on the scooter.
I got to make a another video closing that story off. The epic dude who sold me the board and lent wetty in germany bought it back, i finagled cheap tow in europe!
Yes storms when i was there, nice venturi north breeze very flat water in the morning.
