I wasn't very enthused as it was freezing and I wasn't looking forward to falling in icey water. I've been losing confidence in myself on LM. Too many bodged gybes and only just catching the gear.
Today was a great confidence booster. It was so nice to have long runs and not have to worry about shallow water.
It was sunny and I just plodded and glided around . I didn't drop any gybes or get wet and was too hot by the end.
Only got going for 300m in the straps and it was bliss.
I've got spoilt at Budgy. cripes those boats rip up the lake. crisscross wake everywhere as they go through.
Only me. A winger came out at the end but gave up as it was too patchy and light.

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU. McKee Hydro 76w 155ltr. Ezzy Cheetah 8.5. 44. A very good session, why? Could have been A; emotional yoyo. Rigged early and tuned some sails. Wind was building, then it was not, then again. It took some courage to get in wet wetty in the cold in no wind but I did, then took it off, then lucky Mobdog was there to claim it was building after I took wetty off, back on, out there and it was on, just enough. Working to link gusts and keep it going. B; maybe the sail tuning did it (released some batten tension to just a little bit tight.) C; I tried some new moves. Pumping in very light wind near shore, I discovered that when upon the plane, in not enough wind, enough wind could be found if I stayed in giraffe stance. Bum almost on water, arms longer than they should be able to go, it went. So good in fact that I started sending into gybes, in wind which was not enough to plane properly. D; it could have been the board, but Mobdog reckons it's very hard to get used to. I swear, numbers don't do that one justice atall, once the vid drop, bullsh*** will stop 🤣 I think robo cam is working again after went splat on sand the other day.
