Andrew Haigh (54115km): ![]() Coal Point, NSW, AU NE 10-14 JP175, SB900.115.255, Loft 8.0m Even better today, a proper NE direction and some pretty solid periods of power.
sboardcrazy (28104km): ![]() 5-15kts one run then 5-12kts E-ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.5m Turbo- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy Got there and it was blowing 14-17kts E so I rigged the big sail and medium board for the chop. As soon as I got out it died and should have been on the 125ltre. I got one run over near Swansea for the 2 sec. A bit scary as I was only in the front strap and the board is slippery. Plodded above the point hoping it would come back in but it didn't. The Wt's point too well. hard to get it off the wind for the way back , especially under powered. I'm disappointed I rigged wrong but it was nice to sail an E in winter..I probably wouldn't have got going much more with the big board but it would have been easier. Andrew went out when I came in. He gets going in a bees fart.
MobZ (11050km): ![]() Jimmy's beach, nsw. McKee Hydro 155ltr, Ezzy Cheetah 8.5. 47cm. First nor easter. Although there wasn't really any wind. I couldn't see any, Mobdog got going a couple of times and I'd test rigged some sails so thought I may as well go out there in the sun. It was planing a lot. Nice little session.
Lake Mac Robbo (899km): ![]() Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU, Patrik F-ride 135, Patrik ride FR 7.5, MFC 44 The late winter north east breeze was pleasant, albeit slightly patchy. Some more light wind gybe practice made it worth the effort.
