Old man kicked the bucket 9 years ago and used to love swimming here, so I thought today his birthday he might have turned on the magic. I went out and tried a slalom run downwind then damn it, it didn't want to head back up home. Little wind up at the spit launch, hard going into it but got there in the end pretty comfortably. Magic enough, great to get out there. It's a different world in a nor easter, always happy to see one of the first days of the season.

 I was the fastest one out there today ( only one) ..

Mainly a plod but got some ok wind at Swansea and got some nice runs. It filled in nicely as I came in and Andrew went out.

It would have been nice to stay out in the better wind but I wanted to get home in daylight.

 A winger wasn't going when I was out but they were flying as I packed up.
