Reasonably consistent 12-13kts SE wind at ~3pm at the bottom of the Tide. It picked up unexpectedly to 13-15kts occasional gusts to 17kts+ at around 4:15pm making conditions quite choppy, but very welcomed making a very pleasant late arvo windsurf. It's amazing when the sniff of wind comes in how many windsurfers suddenly appear!
Today I was overtaken by Vando and Woods on the inside, and on the outside. Doh! The masters are at it again!
The BP26 weed fin was a bit small for today's conditions, spinning out quite regularly once the wind picked up.
Out with Vando, Nick, Hendrik, Jord, Dave D, Trevor B.
