You can see theree's been a winddrought. Usually I'd hate a session where I didn't do many gybes but it was great to just be powered.

 Level and weedbergs were less of an issue than  I expected. Plenty of flatwater. 

 I only tried 2 gybes but got both.

 Could have been on the 5m - 80ltre at 1st then the 6.5m as it died.

Didn't try for a nm. Wasn't sure of the depth and I'm still getting used to that combo. Not sure the Pepe would hold plus I was superstacked and dumping power.

 Changed to the lower clewhole and more outhaul and took it carefully in the strong stuff and survived. That 95 is a good compromise..more float for the lulls but as narrow as my 80 so still ok speed.

 Maybe all that floating around Lake Macquarie with the big gear is helping my fitness. 

It turned more Sw and died and I had trouble getting in. I was going to go back out on bigger gear and practise gybes but it looked like it was over.

 Plenty out. Matt , Greg K, Greg F , Mobsy , Brian , later Mike , Bruce and Mitch. Pete went out at 1st in lighter wind and then it kicked in 20-25kts.

I was worried he wouldn't get back but he got a lull and got back.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Used all the gear. Rig 6.5, walked out 10m and wind got scared and ran away. Zero puff so walked in and rigged 7.5. Big puff came. Too big. Rig 6.5 again. Go on McKee Ocsla 107ltr 18ff. Later on McKee Atlas 120ltr 18ff. Then McKee Hydro 155ltr, Ezzy Cheetah 8.5. Session 2, light wind, got me the biggest numbers. Put a big smile on my dial as first session strongget wind only got me 26kts peak. Second session was so incredibly smooth i didnt feel it atall. Surprise, smile on dial.
