30 days ago Boggy Lake - M137/Evo XV 7.5/Darksabre 40 - 15-20 SE
It was a nice day at Boggy in the end and the SE meant you could hug the bank above the reed beds. I went out on the big board as the wind looked a bit patchy when I hit the water. It filled in though the day and rather than change down boards for speed, I just did laps up the top trying to get some distance and gybe practice. I tested a bunch of fins including Stumpy, a short wide fin which is from the same mould as my 48 degree Alphour weed. The rake is about 20 degrees and this allowed me to explore further up the eastern end of the bank, although it was still a little too small for the 82cm wide board. Heading back down to the launch was interesting with long lines of chop coming from the main lake mixing with the Boggy chop.
