Near ballistic wind speed in very rough conditions. 25knots, gusts to 29kts. Coming mostly from the South direction, sometimes even S/SSW. Wind was the wrong direction for doing U-turns. There was a wall of wind approaching the first pair of channel markers, where both Nick and I frequently tail-walked our boards. The chop further out past the main markers very unpredictable, not really allowing any Naughtie runs - too dangerous. Filtered sunshine in light cloudy conditions, warm enough though becoming colder as the afternoon advanced. Out with Woodsy, joined later by Trevor B and Jord.
