WNW, awesome fun- been waiting for a good one of these all winter. 6.2m because I wanted to see how it went for bottom end. Yep its good. 128 for the float. Got a nice gust and best run of the day so decided to be sensible and put the 110. Great fun. Good to see a few more guys on the water- Daz, Luke, Mike and Jo, Matty Langer, and Dan plus a bunch of others.

Fun sesh with Mr (1 more gust) Lockwood and a few others at Melville today. First test of the FMX 98 in the river chop and it handled very nicely. A good taste of things to come!

Good to see a few WST crew ventured out at Australind. Hope it bought the goods for everyone that made the effort to drive down.

Majestic Point, WA, AU

Overpowered sesh at Foilville. Got down there 8ish and it was a solid 25K.

I hadn't packed the 5.0, so I vacillated before rigging the 6.0 + 450 front wing, hoping it would back off a bit.

Got on the water and I was lit to overpowered on the combo, but I persevered and found a few good patches.

Not a bad sesh, but I gotta stop leaving the small kit at home!

More mad science on Mckee at Glory Holes with a good crew, Australind, WA, AU.  Wanted to sail Yunderup or Coods but most seemed they were heading to Australind as it woz gonna be on!  Perfect tide bla bla.   Did emergency repairs/adjustments to camera jigs and headed down.   On arrival, big crew out but massive chop fest and blowing like nuts.  Met new face Pablo from spain.   Tide was dropping fast so chatted for a bit then rigged.  Most thought the Mckee's would be dogs in the chop so originally put in big fin...... Stretchy came in and said he was scrapping with a 27cm fin...that meant a job for the warp drive fin.  Bolted that on and went out. Didn't go with the camera jig as far too choppy.   Conditions well outside my paygrade but the board/fin combo was rock solid...too chicken to really send it like the others but at least was in control.  During one gybe I managed to slip and did the splits...despite my nickname I don't do the splits so strained something in the groin and lost the mojo.   Came in and Antman said he wanted to have a crack. Meanwhile Boz had disappeared without rigg'n. Was surprised Antman stuck with my 3D printed battle hardened flexy fin instead of one of his own.  Chased him with the drone fully expecting he'd do one run and come in..hower he stuck at it sending it deeper and deeper...burnt 2 batteries chasing him.   He came in and was surprised he wanted to have a go on the 65 Litre Warby as he was suitably impressed on the big board.  Unfortuantley I haven't had time to put the footstraps on so that will have to wait for another day.   Went out again as water slightly flatter but couldn't go faster.   Called it but then Antman and Woody said they were heading to Coods....which is where we should have been 4 hrs earlier..  Arrived with the granny out blasting around.   After reviewing interesting footage from yesterday wanted to try the lifter fin out again and get some rear footage plus test the camera jig.   Got further with the jig but still stripped the servo gear whilst trying to get going.   The dying breeze meant didn't go any faster. Entertaining day out but definitely wrong call going to GH.  Mckee Morph 100l, KAR5.7, FF22warp V3 then SvOD7.8+FF22 SC lifter

Water state not quite what we expected at Glory holes. Tough going and still no flats when the tide dropped,still nice to be out on the water with the boys,Woody ,Jim stretch and Tom and Boz sleeping on the side lines :)) stopped off at coods on the way back to a field of flats so quickly rigged and had a couple of runs in a fading wind. Powered by the 5.6 P7,59 iso,25 ws at Glories and 6.2 nx at cods.
