Andy Weatherill (2558km): Well, I'm knackered. Every muscle is sore. Today was the first time I've sailed 100km at Boggy. I started at about 11:30am by which time the wind was in the 17-19knot range. After a fun 45km on my JP 95L and 6.2m Severne R7 I had a quick feed and upsized to a 7.0m Severne and JP113L with 46cm slalom fin. The wind had dropped to about 16knots or so. Most others went home by mid arvo. I sailed by myself for a couple of hours while Stash helped his lad who is doing really well learning. I had a fun 10km with Stash at the end. A great fun day. I really struggled with gybes in the chop and by the end I was so tired that gybing was becoming physically diffixult anyway. Good fitness training for summer. | ||||||||||||||||||
NeedSpeedStash (7491km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Good day, mainly spent teaching my son to sail. Wind dropped off a bit, glad my gamble worked as set up the 7.2 straight away. Andrew was on fire clocking up 100kms - nice!! |
