Green Island, QLD, AU

Well what a day ......most of the FNQ MOB made the trip Kel,Cam and Ellie,Gaz, Billy,Eddy, Ian, James,Troppo,(Troppo's old man..and had a sail) Chris and Edd's student Andrew who has improved out of sight. Was raining this morning before heading to the wharf but rain stayed away from Green although was overcast and a little 'chilly' for the locals.

All seemed to have a good time with the 'office workers' in the group returning on the early boat ....tired ...OOHHH.Smile

Was challenging with the 6.6 and left its toll....will sleep well tonight.

RRD 102 CROSSFIRE , LOFT O2 6.6 and CANEFIRE 38

iS107, 7.8SBlade, 38 CL Sl2 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU SE 13-18kn

Great little session although harness lines on port tack were too far forward and didn't have enough outhaul so I had to come into the beach to adjust which knocked some time off my hour.  Happy with the numbers none the less although just couldn't get it over the 30 kn mark.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Starboard 300lt Inflatable Windsup 7.3m Switchblade.

Great fun in light wind 6-12 knots. First went out with the 4 and 14 year old on the bow but couldn't stop it rounding up with their weight at the front. On my own the board heads upwind with the kick down centreboard reasonably well, then surfed the swell on the way back in. Surfed best with the centreboard down. Laughing

For a brief moment I thought we'd lost our team captain-horrible crash in the shallows when his fin unexpectedly let go -he took a couple of seconds to surface ....nasty ...

Daughter number 3 Ella ( aged 10yrs ) showed some real tenacity & promise today -very proud !!SmileCool

Troppo, just downloaded your file from KA72 and deleted ferry ride.  Total distance 16.494km and NM 22.645kn (which included 2 gybes).  Just having a look at that sweet alpha of yours (below) - you came into it around 29knots and initiated the turn at 33.5knots Surprised then down to 13kn slow point then exited at a steady 25knots.  That rooster tail on your turn must have looked impressive.
