Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Jp SuperX116, Aerotech 6.7, 37 alloy fin

Very overpowered with the smallest sail I have at the moment. All chopped up of course but still good to be on the water in the Tropical North.Laughing

Green Island, QLD, AU.  2 sessions on GI today 730-830 with S-SE winds 25-33 knots then 1230-145 25-33 knots SE-ESE-SE.

Used the Xfire 90 Tribal sw 27 E6 6.4 initially but fin kept letting go in the horrible chop on the run so after a couple of nasty crashes I switched to the Jp Speed board 50 /tribal sw 23 & found some comfort there ...!!

Kel locked on to a monster gust as I was walking up the run in the morning session & surfaced with a 43.2 on the dial !! I couldnt get close ...FrownYell

Used the Speed board again for afternoon session -worked well this time & managed a few 41 knot runs .Started in some sketchy very shallow water but by ~ 130 the run was really working nicely .We had to run to catch the 230 boat in the end so overall great fun .

Hoping for more ...

Congrats to Kel for smashing it again today -a Real Captains Knock ...!!!Cool

Cool

Awesome day at Green with Cam, Toody and Loch. First session was from 730 to 830 on the fast falling tide with a 25 to 30 SE, quite choppy and messy on the run with too much East in the wind. Managed to hook into a ripper gust just before hitting the run, and only just managed to hold it down with a little tail walk mid run to end up with a 43.25 on the dial!

The arvo session had much more consistent wind and really nice flat water as the wind swung back to the South. Couldn't go any faster than the morning session and ended up with a 41.70, which felt very slow and controlled after the mornings peak in the chop!

Cam and Locky great, great numbers ... and a GREAT effort.....maybe more to come!

Peter....pretty good scores for the Holloways conditions.... long as you did not break any gear.
