Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Back to reality after yesterday's GI mission.  Out with Tony the "Truckie" in the mud pit smooth, which was rough as guts in comparison...

Used the ol' Futura 122lt carbon board for something different along with the Severne OD 7.8 M2 & BP 42.5 Sabre.  Wind ended up being 12~16kn SE swinging either sides with a few holes on every run.  Much stronger out the back, but chopped up to the max which made it very difficult to navigate any sort of lines.  Breeze dropped out towards the end so decided to call it quits before it became a dredgefest.

Tony sailed really well- such a positive bloke!  Just loves getting out on the water!! Cool

Still all worth rigging up for a nice wind down sesh- might even go out for another squirt tomoz.

Green Island, QLD, AU Great day on the Island with Captn Kel & Reuben .Wind mostly in the low 20s with the odd gust higher .Nice Neap tides ...

Started on the RRD 108 tribal delta 22 & 7m2 Evo 11 -got stuck at 35.8 on this combo .Switched to the JP slalom 62 /Tribal speed delta 22 but couldnt go any quicker ...agghhrrrr .Kel by this stage was consistently getting 37s ...!!

As the water got deeper switched fins to the tribal SW 29 & immediately went a knot faster .Still couldnt catch Kel who was on his 6.2 & speed board .

Had a nap /rehydrated & managed to catch a nice gust  late in the session & finally got a decent peak ...!! Sorry Kel ...You would have had a 40 for sure with this gust -seabreeze had it at 29 knots ...

Great day .

Amazing colors today .

Happy ..!!CoolLaughing

B2 - the old mud pit is a pretty poor second best option aint it Wink. Looks like the Doc and Kel cleaned up the coral again. Man, that must have been a close shave with very little water to play in !!!.
