Jimbob (26496km): Lake george from the 5 mile drift. SE 30 +++ too much for me today. F2 sxs then onto the Missile xs with decrepit 21 weedy. Full on wind today absolutely maxed on the 5.0 Koncept, was first time on the Missile for a long time and great to see over 40 on every run. Yeee Haaa never got comfortable today and mojo was down actually bloody scared on a few runs so took it easy to save for a flatter days to come. Some sweet scores to come from others.
hoppybogan (26059km): Stansbury, SA, AU SXS90, GPS 5.5, 34(28) BP weedy Was under done early but slowly it was building so ended up really good. We headed out to the new favorite spot and settled in. A couple of seals were about so kept a look out for them. Was only thinking that i had not stacked for ages but today i stepped of gybing fast and bounced a bit on my back. Followed the flat bottom oyster boat back in on one run on flat water in his wake, was great- just needed some stronger wind. Had a conference with Tricky late in the session and we added a few more k'ms in close on the spit. A few beers and discussion about Lake George ended a great days sailing.
Tricky Bogan (21799km): what a cracker of a day great cruzing, just great to be alive & sailing Koncept 5.8 Isonic 87 28 lessacher duo speed weed
Sammy (43237km): Lake george road trip with carl. Had an awesome time with carl. Met up with red, jacques, jackknife goerge:-) glynn and Sammy. All fun people who love a good laugh. That Sammy bloke from the west is a great bloke with loads of enthusiasm for the sport. Good to see. Well done to all with loads of PBS. Also caught up with leon, chris, pj and jimbob from the demonds. Big thanks to jimbob for letting us stay in the cabin, fun night. Sailed 5.1 blade, 46 AB speed and a 24 choco fin.
Captain bogan (50629km): Lake George, SA, AU - Day 2 - 28 - 35 knots. Wind was cranking. Rigged TR-4 5.1 Maui this time and used the JP Speed 45 and 23cm Vector weed speed again - another great combo. Quickly had a mid 41 knot on the dial and took a while to time a gust to get the 44.33 screen. Had some exciting moments in the bearaways hitting some interesting chop at 43 - 44 knots. Loved every minute of it and now i think i have the JP dialed and the water is dropping so it should be interesting in the next 4 weeks... Great road trip as usual Sam - infact i would say it was the best road trip had at lake george - having a laugh with the boys or laughing at me, drinking beer, talking s#$% and great sailing. Awesome PB'S - well done and Sam - great sailing mate - WELL DONE.
