Tricky-0 Wind-1. Jeff & I planed a rematch tomorrow over a well earnt beer.

Lots of people around today for the forecast. Water state still bumpy but flatter southern side of lake. Some fast people around!! To much wind for me lol
Got bogged again today, pain in the butt. Plenty of help to push me out. Thanks to all:-)

Quick day trip with Leon and a 4am start.
Started out on the W54 with the 6.0NCX and 23 Vector Weed Speed, and it felt great. Went looking for some flat water, and only found a little bit between the isands. Got a 36 peak on this combo, then went back for some smaller gear. A solid breeze was building.
Grabbed the W44 and 5.6 R3 with 21 Vector Weed Speed. First time on this board and it feels much smaller than my last W44. It was really windy now and still choppy on most of the lake. I went in behind the islands and managed a 38.36 peak on port tack.
Others headed up wind and I think found the better conditions.
Worth the trip.

3942 days ago Lake George - Day 1 of road trip with Sam. Only a couple of hurdles this trip. Firstly lost my towel on the way somewhere on the 400k trip after putting it between the board and roof to stop the flapping. Arrived to see a decent crew and my lowered commodore got stuck on a rock - Sam told me to do it. The guys luckily helped out and walked 200m to push me out - thanks guys. On the water with the newly acquired JP Speed 45 - thanks Hamma, '13 Hot Sails GPS 5.5 and Vector weed speed 23. Wind was 25 - 30 and the setup was awesome - this board was perfect from the minute i stepped on it.
Only flat water we found at the start was between cockies and Barbie Island - had some great runs and managed a naughty. Didn't quite get 40 but had great fun. Meanwhile Jimbob, Jacques and Sam headed up the top and found a nice spot but i did something different and kept doing bearaways so didn't make it there and thought i would leave some energy for the next day.
Great to catch up and have a laugh with Sammy fom WA, Hollywood and Red, Chris D, PJ and Leon and a couple of NSW and QLD guys and of course the local Jimbob - thanks for the great hospitality as usual and see you soon....
