Pelican Point, ISO107, OD 7.5,6.7, Fo42, CF38.

Good fun in the sun, Lots of wind and lots of boaties messing up the water.

Got a bit too much for the 107/6.7 combo after a while but couldn't be stuffed changing down.

Sailors beware, got a parking ticket for my troublesYell

Melville Beach, WA, AU

JP Slalom 112, OD 6.2 CF 34 then CF 38. Pretty happy with some more PBs! Found the 34 was a little loose so tried the 38 which was great across the wind, maybe a touch on the large side but got a 32 on the bigger fin so great result. Lots of people out, great day on the water!

Melville beach "Craw V's the flying stingray"I won I think?

7.2 h2r,118 jp supersport,38 jp ss fin

todays mission was to get some K's on the clock so top speeds were not the priority,as have been a bit slack in the K department since snapping my forearm in August.hit the 60 k mark at 6pm and started to head back to shore so as to save some arm power for tomorrows session, and then it happened......................just as I was doing my last downwind run to the beach travelling at about 28.5 knots when something(the ray) LEPT OUTA THE WATER! about a meter high right in my path and slamed across my shins and then back into the water.I keept sailing back to shore yellin WTHF? WTHF?with a nice bit of pain coming from my back foot.trudged up the beach with a nice oozing of blood gushing outa my foot with every step.

So off to Freo hospital I go ,only in there for an hour, lotsa flushing out of the wound and taped it together, thankfully just a clean slash from the barb so it should heal up well/quick.must check my footstrap as i think it saved my foot from a longer slash.

Thanks to the bloke who wrapped me foot up on the beach ,there'll be beers for you tomorrow.

Congratulations Tim.

That's crap to get a ticket in the holiday week. I arrived around 4, just as you were leaving,  and didn't bother with parking either. I guess, I was lucky.

Craw, I nearly had the same experience at Mandurah last week. I frightened a ray in my path which leapt out of the water off to the side and then doubled back and leapt out again in roughly the position I had been. Thankfully I was moving on the board and was ahead of it. I made sure to keep going in case it decided to chase me!

Bad luck about the parking ticket RayGun!

I thought things were tough for Ray Gun after the parking ticket but I'll take one of those over a sting ray gash anyday. Hope it heals soon Craw
