Set up felt really nice today in the choppy gusty condtitions so I went for a few speed runs.  Not sure if I want to go too much quicker than this at Peli !!

Nice work on the PBs Whitey! You are on about the same best speed as me. I suspect you will crack 34 before I do. Yes, 34 knots can be pretty scary in chop.

You need to run it through realspeed or similar and look at the track. Realspeed edits out spikes, and will show you the second by second speeds. Team captains can usually do that for you if you do not have the program.

OK Anita thanks,  What do you reckon captain Raygun?  I do recall some interesting mid air bearaway moments that accelerated me rather quickly until I could bring it back onto the wind but the spike still looks a little sus!

Cheers Anita,  Just checked out my runs in Google earth and GPS results and I reckon my 33knts is a glitch.  It shows it coming back to the carpark when i was trying to get up wind and not really pushing it for speed.  How can I tell if its a funky reading or not??
