An interesting day out today. Gusty – 12 to 32 knots. The little speed run was working in the middle channel, but didn’t have a really good go at it due to the preening kiters taking pictures of themselves right in the middle of the run. It would be nice if they actually looked every now and again before they boost on you. I actually yelled “you need to look” – they didn’t like that. So the big dude decided to come over and give me his 5 cents worth. I repeated what I had said, he seemed mad and big and that’s when I think it could be described as “I lost my sh_t” at him. He backed off, but now I feel a little bit bad. So apologies to the big kiter for being an angry little man, but more importantly apologies to Daffy, because now they all think he’s the angry little man! (Daffy’s old KA is now mine and I haven’t got around to removing his stickers)
