Good fun checking out a new spot with Tristan & Mikey. Later at Wello Westerly was not as consistant as earlier but still a good blast.

Arrived at 3.00pm to try and take advantage of the rising tide to get a few runs on the eastern side of the bank. The wind was a typical 10 to 25kt westerly. The window of when its deep enough to sail and not too deep for the bank to go under is only about 45min. Good to share this window with Simon, Mickey, Jayson and Tristan.

Started off with wrong sail -- just wasn't working for me, ended up doing reasonably well on a 5.8 Ezzy Wave Sail and my aging Mistral Screamer; saw John, but not the others, must have packed up when I came in. Fun times.

I didn't realise you got a 2 sec pb Simon. A good result using the 5.8 wave sail. You looked good. A cammed race sail will allow you to bear away deeper and go even faster.
