Safety Bay, WA, AU Futura 101, RS Slalom III 7.0, 34cm Flying Objects weedy

Fairly Average day at the pond, joined by Tomski and Jake the Snake

Tide was the highest I have ever seen it at the pond with the jetty almost being under, this made the bar and the rest of the pond very choppy

Same as Adam, huge tide, bigchop, wasn't enjoying myself so abandoned the session, Elmo and Col persevered.

JP Slalom VI 65, NP RSR 6.7m & NP RSS Mk IV 7.8m, JP Weed 36cm

Super high tide with the lower jetty underwater, the higher jetty touching, water coming over the log wall.

The wind looked good whilst rigging the reality was it was GAF, holy and swinging, started out with the 6.7m but the wind was to GAF to effectively use it, Ended up changing to the 7.8m which didn't realy help all that much apart from bumping my peak speed a bit.

Oh well theres allways tomorow, but it wasgreat sailing with Decrep, Dot and Col

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU 25knt sw'er with a massive tide causing big short sharp.

CA SL52, RSR EVO2 6.2m, 23cm Slingshot

Fun quick sesh after getting stuck in the office till 4.30pm. Got on the water at 5pm. The tide was huge so on the run it was over waist deep where it's usually knee deep and mirror smooth. Got my NM straihgt off the beach. Got two more 30knt NM's so just went for short runs. tried really hard to go faster but the savage chop held me back. Was topping out at 33-34knts. Good fun all the same. Stoked the new GT31 works.

First day back after 3 weeks of no sailing due to work and holiday interstate. Sailed safety bay with Adam and Snake on one of the highest tides I've seen. Rigged 6m CR thinking wind would kick above 20 odd knts, but the minute I'd finished it droppedYell. Spent most of the time in the sound dodging some fairly big summer swell. Looks like theres big tides all week. Frown

CR 6.0m, Iso 76, with LE 27cm.

Yeh huge Tide up North here, where I am makes the place unsailable, had 3 or 4 runs and felt like I needed a kidney transplant afterward

decided not to bother as tide this high makes it very bumpy, look like I called it right!

Col i dont want to bug you but your GPS is giving you dodgy resultsd if your 2 sec max was on 31knts and your average for a NM (1850m) is 34knts. Send your data to our captain for checking.

Col you can't get a Nautical mile off the GPS, use http://www.ka72.com/it can load your data straight to this sight, or you can record the results, and puch in manually.

Tomski, good to have you back. I'm trying to get your email address so you can be part of the club bulk emails. Could you PM me on seabreeze, or pass it on thru Sam or Adam?
