OD5.4, Sonic85, F1 28. Meville. Gusty, choppy, most frustrating sail that I have had in a long time. Tried the OD on a 400 mast, thinkng a shorter mast might give it a softer feel. Actually felt more rigid and was the opposite of what I was after (even downhauling was harder). So re-rigged it on my old faithful Tushy430, and resumed normal programming. Wind died for a while and was going to pack it in. Was then lured out again when it came back in. Glad I did as it was more consistent (ie more like the usual Melville!). Got my best speeds in the 2nd session. Couldn't find a gust of wind that lasted long enough for a decent alpha (or a good speed run for that matter).

Melville high tide , so KFC run was working :)

Xfire 102, Koncept 6.6, Rockit 30, CTM

Nice little blast, late on the day. Did a few KFC runs up in the bay, then went to Point W for a few runs, but realized I missed the "boat" with the best conditions. Chris, Lao Shi and Newson was there and it was good fun going that close to the little island in the end of the run,,

Went back to Melville and had some nice blasts with Jay,,

Isonic 105/ Canefire 36, Code Red 7.0 at Melville

Massively high tide today which allowed us to sail high up the bay.

Some great gun runs Jesper, I've never sail that fast with someone on my tail- great fun mate!! Must have looked good from the beach!!

no not at all , obi

it was at least knee to waist deep, the surge from the northerly brings the water  level up by an extra metre .

the only other times is in winter can you sail that far up into the bay .

Good distance there Jay...hopefully I will get my Pathfinder back from the panel shop today so will have something to put my gear in! Boards, sails etc  just don't fit into the STI all that well!!

Steve- I'm dark with myself today cas I should have sailed longer and got a PB. I got hungry so I decided to pack it in around 6:30- oh well. You need to get some roof racks for the STI mate!!

Nice numbers Darryl????????
