Sandy point..

You know your in trouble when Daffy is on a 4.0m and Spotty is on a 5.0! Absouloutly howling PiT today - 30 -40 knots and gusty. Super tough day for me and a big learning experience (again!). First run on CA Sp44 and KA Koncept 4.4 had me tail walking and ready to change my undies. Came in a just watched for a hour as the Pit crew just got faster and faster. Bit the bullet and jumped back into the fray. Very tight course today and getting upwind to the the bear away was a challenge with the board bucking like a broncho ...

Had a few bear aways but never felt in control and pulled up short on the runs. Got stood up multiple times and just was "surviving" rather than sailing..

Kudos to the pit regulars who were flying ...
