JP slalom VI 76cm, NP RSR Eiii 8.6, JP slalom 46cm & Pepe Super4sexy weed

Grinding away all day on the computator, not expecting any wind today was exceptionaly surprised to find it blowing near stumps, even more surprised to find that it was still blowing when I got down to the run, so I rigged believing the wind was only going to fade, imagine my surprise whern I hit the water and the wind picked up some more.

Normally my Tim the toolman (read: brute force and ignorance) approach works, today was one of those rare days when I wished I had have rigged a wee bit smaller, realistically I could have been on a 6.2 and been quite comfy.

Hanging onto the sail was interesting dealing with the high tide chop wasn't really to much of a problem, what was an issue was sailing back into the sun, could not spot the markers, sailed twice trough the rock garden with a 46cm pointer on and all i could see going past me was big f'off clumps of weed attached to f'ken big lumps of limestone, let me tell you I got some major freckle excersize going through there.

Came back and changed to a weedy incase I collected something, did a few more runs and flagged it with my arms about 3" longer.

Fun unexpected sail, all goodCool

rigged the 6.0 on the 53, this time tried the 25.5 for running more square, as Elmo called NM and hr

I did 2 NM runs then ran diagonally across alpha land, from it's NW corner to the sand bank behind boundary Island a 2.4km run with reasonably shallow water to gybe in at each end. Good job too as I stuffed quite a few of them. Also ran into a lull inbetween the 2 NM runs, that probably did the most damage to the hr result.

Hoping to see another couple of PBs from Stroppo when he posts

Don't encourage himUndecided the reason why he's pissed of is that he droped "A" gybeSurprised

Not 2 gybes not 3 gybes but "A" singular sole gybe.Surprised

30 fn years wsurfing, still can't fn rig right for the conditions, drop a gybe right in the middle of my hr attempt, the sail drops into a position in deep water that takes 10fn minutes to fn water start, the hr attempt is destroyedYell, I sail back & the conditions are windy, and I'm too fn old and decrepit to re-rig smaller kitYell and I'm talking real decrepit, not the false decrepit who masquerades as a decrepit in our team, but the real decrepit of the teamYell, other than that I'm in a really good moodYell
