Slowboat (53720km):
5148 days ago half hour of sailing from 9:30am, a few hours of gasbagging with the southies afterwards. Better than pulling weeds out of the garden.
Melville 7.8m, 137, CL35 fin. Once nice gust and nice flat water the rest of the time (with very gusty light wind).
Stoked to be able to get going really early on this setup.
Tomorrow looks like it will be the opposite. The mega tide + storm surge is going to make Melville as rough as it ever gets. Maybe we can sail where the carpark normally is. It will be cold, gusty, rough, and difficult... but... WINDY for the first time in maybe 8 months. Thats what my crystal balls say anyway. Cant wait!
