Yoyo's. 5.6 Reflex II, Speed Special 44w, delta speed weed 23

 

Made a day of it with the MM Speed kings. Got down there early, rigged and settled in for the storm. A few good fronts came through, but all hell broke loose just after sunset. Huey playing games againYell.

Great crew down there. Crasher and Stroppo from the A team. A couple of pinna's and some Swan River lads. All laughs and chaos while sitting in the mud waiting. All of us had the frozen toes sensation, but I think it was just a chemical reaction with the radioactive mudWink.

Couldn't go fast, sail felt heavy etc.(only realised this later) Cheers crasher for the run on your gear. Which felt feather light compared to mine. Had a bit of a stop and think in the car on the way home. 'Not enough down Haul' you idiot!!! Dead flat water, wind was there. Was looking for excuses, fin, board, but I'm sticking my hand up and saying 'I just stuffed up rigging'. If your stuck in a rutt try it. NEXT TIME!Cry

Quick sesh at yoyos with the boys. alot of waiting. But good times had. Just good to get onto some flat stuff. Nude 47, TR-8 6.3 with 21 slingshot. Best bit was leaving an wind an rain started an we could not see our exit point. Body starting to feel worn after the last couple of days

Lake Preston, WA, AU Well done crasher you got bragen rights today that was a fun sesh nice 2 gat yoyos a bit better this time not a bad turn out 4 a late one i left my wind gauge on my tri pod and got a max gust of 43.9 knots and that was before the weather hit got a peek 2sec on the dial of 39.71 and its os much easier in flat water my first time in that smooth water hiting those speeds  it was fun again and im a happy man except im back at work  never mind at least i got a sail and had a laugh tr4 5.9 nude54 delta weedy 25SmileSmileSmile

How was the crazy sky on the way out. Bright stars to the north and lightning to the SW. Front just hitting here now- I can see the lightning.

PS - Do you sail south of the (what looks like man-made) sand wall dividing the lake in GE?  Looks lovely and sandy too although is this just to the water line with the caustic mud beyond.
