Beachport, Lake George from the drift, N 8 to 18.

F2 Stoke 117, 011 6.6 KA Koncept, weedys JP36 and select 30.

Forcast didn't happen, had to pump to get going heaps and it dropped right out sometimes, was all over at 2.30 was a bugger as was hopeing to do some distance to back up PJ.

Smile gear went awsome, had straps inboard and single as usual on this board so easy to sail where you want up or down wind. had a carbon fibrespar boom on for the first time it's a keeper for the 6.6. will use my other new carbon boom on the smaller sails only.

Wink didn't get my beanie wet, bloody 6 degrees when I went out at 10am.

Wink had a good look around the middle lake and down the big lake to the dunes, either side and of the end of the spit was easily the best, looks fantastic for speed runs come december and the se seabreeze, a big northerly will fire here as well.

Fun day, pretty powered up with 36cm fin but struggled going upwind, felt good on loose runs. chasing breeze when changed to 42cm fin then lightended off and packed it in.

CA101, 6.6 Koncept, 36 Duo Cut weedie, rigged for the forcast & was prepared to come in when I was over powered but it never realy fillled inCry

Was the cleanest steadyist Northly I have ever sailed in Pete had his wind meter up & it sat on 11-13 knots so even only the occoasional 17kn gust. sailed complete legs with only one hand could have sailed for ages NO hands but I was too lazy to fine tune the harness lines. The lessacher duo cut was a pleasure to sail nice lift & solid. first time I have used it. sweet! Sailed with Pete & Jason from the dark side, called the session short as Pete was under powered & slugging, & Jason the pussy was cold only had a shorty wetsuit ( living in Qld wetsuit has made him soft) Pitty it did not kick in like the forcast. The tide was too high for realy flat water, but a realy nice sail. hey Dave still can  beat JasonWink

Which spot did you launch from Jamie?

Yeah the wind puffed out otherwise would have clocked up some more k's :-(

BTW Jamie I've first 2 weeks off starting from around 1st of September so I should be sailing more Lake George. Will you still be holidaying or finished by then?

3 out a long way apart. we certainly are a spread out team.

Pete  sailed from the 5 mile drift end of the gravel road and went upwind to the spit area. N is cross shore from here 5 steps and away with the 36 fin. could have sailed out from Shelly beach closer to Beachport too.

Will be on arvo and nights them 2 weeks but off on the 7th and 8th. can still sail the mornings on arvo and all afternoon on nights.

Winkor if it's going to be on I may fall ill for the day.

September isn't the best time for flat water or real consistent winds, seabreeze time is far better.
