Bit of a bugger of a sail. I would have like to have used my 6.6m sail with my small board but the sail is being repaired. So used the 5.9m with the big board. Its quite fun to sail this combo anyway. Tried the small board but could not consistently plane and had to bear off wind big time to get on the plane when the gusts came through.

At least it gets us on the board for the month.

6.2m NP RS Slalom III on 84L Exocet waveboard with 23cm Prolimit onshore fin - my only way of dealing with weed. Had a handful of powered-up runs when some squalls came through, but was otherwise mostly slogging wishing I'd brought my bigger sails. Doh!

Good one Artur. I'll see if my GPS worked today. Unfortunaly my 6.6m sail is being repaired and that is the size I should have been using today. Is it the first time you have sailed at Sandringham?

yes it was first time for me.

i was scared a bit because of shallow water and my speed is actually reflecting it.

I hope next time will be much faster.

Good one Sparky. Hopefully you got enough windsurfing over the weekend to keep you sane this week. One day at work makes yesterday a distant memory.
