Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

All things considered, that was a pretty reasonable sail. Breeze had more holes than a Bond Corp Get Rich Quick Scheme so decided to unpack Hoppy Bob's 129 Screamer. Gaz was setting up as I arrived and didnt sound to hopefull so I went with the biggest of everything I had at my disposal.

Wind line was way of shore and by way offshore, I mean wwaayyyyyyy offshore. Reckon it took me about 15 mins of on and off planning to hit something solid out wide. 15 knts to start  and steadily built up to 20 knts way out wide. I dont think I have played out that wide before. I can telll you that some of the container ships look quite large from close up.

Very happy with that session. Couldnt land a gybe to save my self which has really bought my 1 hr back considerably but really happy with my 5x10 speeds.

Had a great chat with Freddy whilst packing up - Thanks for the company champ.

129 Screamer, 7.5 T4, 43 Select Eagle.

Went out for a look see today ....wind seemed on and off with wind line the other side of NZ

and Gaz confirmed that so stayed and watched with binoculars. Guys were planning then balancing

a lot of the time so was glad to have stayed in.

Well what can I say about young Billy.......did the hard yards getting out there and staying out there

through the lulls to bring home a 29.66 on the dial....that was a great effort and do nearly 60k's in that

$#it well done mate and well deserved.  Hoppy Bob.....was it the boardWink

Thanks guys.

Kel, I thought you had the patience of a Saint trying to get out to the wind line. At one stage we wernt that far apart and I swear I saw you up to your calf's in water, trying hard, to get the 90 going.
