Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Quick little sail between a early knockoff and kiddy pickup, nice direction for the first time in ages, wind was still a bit lighter inside but a lot better than it has been.

Used Isonic 90, Overdrive 7.0 and Viper 36Cool

Port Douglas, QLD, AU     Decided to make the effort to go for an afternoon sail..there was a nice breeze blowing and was tempted to rig smaller gear and use small board, but wasn't sure if the wind was gunna hang around so my rule is if in doubt ''rig big'..Was having a fully powered up blast on 117 Isonic with 7.7m Neil Pryde  rig  cranked down hard and 44cm Drake fin.Saw a big shark about 2m long cruising  out wide just below the surface, blasted strait over the top of him..Think it's the one that has been looking for 'Gaza and his red Jaffa' since last weekend.... Snapped a harness line just on half time which annoyed me  a bit as it is the second set of chinook lines i have broken this season, gunna go back to using North ones ,as i can always get a season out of them..Lost half an hr of sailing time as well putting my last spare line on..Wind came up to a solid 20kts  out wide and i was maxed out till sundown..Didn't miss any gybes and didn't spend any time in the drink was happy with the way i sailed.. Andrew came out for a blast and did a quick sail change down to a 7m and was 'fully lit up' on  big Isonic...Not a bad session but was a bit shagged by the end ...Cheers Ed..

Glad you enjoyed it Kel. Was guaranteed to improve as soon as work got in the way for me.

I spent the day listening to someone that doesn't know how to do our job tell us how to do it.

Eddy.....good numbers ....especially for the 117, must be a PB for that board. Pitty about the harness line as your hour

could have been up there as well.Yell Of all the people to sight a shark ....it would have to be you.....Gaz spent hours in the

water the other day and didn't see a thing but I think he was looking for whales.Wink Didn't miss a jibe and cranked up 75k's

that's a good session. "Sensi Edd" you will have to report on your student  Andrew's speeds in your next report !!

Good sail Edd and keep these write ups coming.....always a great read.Cool

Kel ...great numbers especially your alpha....but we come to expect that from you.Tongue out

Yer Billy think it is a PB for the ugly duckling. I know it will go a lot harder with a go fast fin. Just had a look at my harness and the hook on the spreader bar is snapped on one side again only had it welded up a week ago. Hope you get a sail on weekend
