BIB, CC, Texas. First session on the "new to me" 2016 Switchblade 7.8. Much nicer than a couple of days ago thanks to an Ezzy RDM mast and a carbon boom, and perhaps slightly better trim. Worked on jibing the big race sail, and made a bit of progress, planing out of 1/3 of my jibes. Still got some way to go, scores were only around 35% .. the rest was entry speed. But I figured out a couple of things, and have something to work on next time. A tad chilly today, with air and water around 60 and no sun - we've gotten too used to Texas weather already! Next week should get warmer, though, and the forecast predicts wind on 4 of the 7 days .
