BIB, CC, TX. Freestyle session in gusty and light-ish winds. Worked on flip jibes - got an ugly one or two, but no nice ones. The move is harder than it would seem, although having less wind on the inside where it was flat did not help, either. Quite annoying to get to BIB today - "Kite Day" drew hundreds of cars and cause an hour+ wait, and road construction added another 15 minutes to it. Add a campground host who got possesive about "my grass" ("you can only put your board there if you have the right attitude and because we are so nice"), and the day was a bit less than perfect. But it was sunny and warm, and Nina made some progress on the Vulcan - she had decent tries while underpowered for the first time.
