SBIB, CC, TX. Falcon 89, BP S 32, Loft Racing Blade 5.6. Wind was very up and down, mostly down (planed 43 minutes in 5 hours). Wanted to try the 5.6 we got from Boro, and liked it a lot - feels very light on the water (but not when carrying it!). Will be fun to sail it fully powered.

South Bird Island Bay, CC, TX. Mostly practiced shlogging until at the end the wind dropped too low to beach start in hip-deep water. Neither did uphauling work - the board just sank straight to the bottom and stuck there. Maybe I should reduce my beer and food intake here a bit. The walk back, with just a few short sails when the wind picked up a bit, was a tad frustrating. But even more frustrating was that the best wind came up for 30 minutes just after we de-rigged, only to drop down again after we re-rigged the same sails. But hey, it was warm and sunny. And I got to play around a bit with the "Taty stance" that Barton pointed out - I think he's onto something there!
