Cervantes, WA, AU Pat 92/ pointy 30ish TRX 5.9 Maybe I’m finally getting some common sense and growing up? Quickly realised the huge swell/chop wasn’t for me today so played it safe in the flat water corner. Hectic ride back to base but nothing broken and never expected to get this sort of speed up here. Good crew from the GPSTC teams up here today well done to all that braved the conditions.

UH OHH to much tubby custard  hit the bottom and launched into boom Yell waiting for pain but no all good then checked sail all good. Attempted to sail away somthing wrong half my boom missing.

bugger long walk in to see Rob wondering what was up and then nice jog back to van.

Fangyland was strangely calm-ish and I thought Pesky Remery had stuffed things up by showing up on the plot before the breeze. As it turned out Huey just seemed to be waiting for him to leave, and once Remery was hitting the frog and toad, the breeze filled in nicely.

It was obvious that tubbyguts Basil wasn’t going to show, so Fin jumped in to do some km’s on his fresh nose jobbed Windtech in his absence.

In the meantime I went with the Barge, KaR 7.1 and FF24. Once I was up the top, I thought it would be giggle to have a crack at a U turn on the Barge. At 28 knots and entering the turn, the Barge decided to show its age. After twenty years the front footstrap plug decided to part company with the board. A high speed trip around the handlebars and a sizeable dent in the estuary was the end result.

I limped back to base and moved the footstrap back to the next set of holes. The new position was a revelation. I thought I had the Barge pretty well dialled-in, but I was well happy with the new stance. So much so, I sailed until Jonski o’clock and risked the wrath of a hungry snotgobbler at home.

A fab day in the sun and smooth and despite the prang it was out yet another Top Ten Fangy Day for me.

Had a fun arvo trying out the old windtek freeride with "nosejoby",,,  witch makes it easyer  to fit in back of car.

  It seems the weed is starting to disappear from the farm but I still got some weed stuk under the fin fillet,,,, needs a fix.!

Bassil was no were to be seen so we were of to a good start,,,,  Wink

   I missed the highlite of the day,,, fangys big splash,  but I was able to avoid the tsunami.

Glad you came out unscathed Simon, even if your boom didn’t. It sure was a mangled mess! Nice work John and Rog. Wish I was there 👍

Simon, there's Hero worshipping and then there's bloody minded stupidity, time to immitate someone with some more skills in sailing rather than dent making.

Glad you're ok mate, I'm still feeling sorry for myself.

Hey Jake it looks like you uploaded 2 files to KA72 from Cervantes today. I ran the one that matches the results you posted here through a program called GPSResults and it looks like the logging is set to 5 seconds. You'll need to change it to 1 second logging to get a result for the 2sec.

I think if you follow the steps below that should help to change it to 1 second logging

settings -> log -> log rule -> by time -> 1sec
