Good day out especially earlier before wind picked up and lake became rougher than...

Started earlyish around 11am and was pleasantly surprised  with nice wind which was even better way up towards the east in this SEly. Found some relatively flat water and quite consistent wind. Knocked off about 70 pleasant ks when coincidently or not , Pete arrived and the wind picked up along with shitty water. Falcon 125 and 7.8 OD went from powered to overdone. With Tuesday's 5.5 wild experience still fresh in the mind I headed down and finished the last 5 k across the rough water between the landing area and the red beacon. Caught up with Greg and Pete afterwards.

Lake Cootharaba, Comfortable for about 1st 15 mins then wind picked a few kts and the lake got a sharp small messy chop everywhere. Was jarring my back to much so after an a hr a bit came in and changed board to FOX 105 from the 72 wide isonic. Much more comfortable and carried the MOTO 7.5 quite easily.
