190 days ago Lake Cootharaba, Wound up to a solid 20-25 kts, was overpowered on 7.0 and and found chop in middle to rough even on fox. Came in for a break and drink after 3pm, was thinking of changing down to 6.5 but wind eased again so had a pleasant Hr to finish off.

Lumpy old sail on gear that was good at first but way too big as the wind picked up. 115 Exocet 40cm Tectonics and 7OD. Lots of takers many of whom , like myself weren't exactly sure what to rig. Anyway , the first of a series of north easterlies which hopefully will settle into something ore regular. Wind did ease and swing to the north later on. As far as my limited "70 yr old" memory will recall , there was Matt , Greg , Pete , Jason , Shaun , Sam , Paul and Sir Richard Gybe-a-bit along with LT riders , dingers and some kiters and windsurf novices.
