Liptons arrived 11.40ish  Lipton's first impression windy and choppy. Lipton's bay looks to have the smoothest water. Mainly around 17/18kts. Gusting to 22kts. Low as 14. Funny how yesterday I was saying after 6 months of a hot summer I'm over this hot weather. 15 minutes out in the cold southerly and I'm over the cold.   AS soon as I finished rigging my 6.3m wind blew up to 25/30kts, so rigged my 5.9m.  By the time I finished rigging my 5.9m, the wind had dropped right off.  Picked up enough ato get going on the 5.9 and was worried it would come back at 25/30kts, never did, underpowered the whole time.  Simmer Slalom 63w/96L  TR18 5.9m  Pepefoil 23/variable rake

Started at Coodanup this morning. The wind was pretty good, and I was fully powered on the OD7.0.  Then to Liptons on the Mach 2 6.2 with Hardie, Pete and Mike. It was quite gusty but a lot flatter than Cood’s.

Not what was meant to happen!!!!

After Hardies message that it had picked up I took the 6.6 out of the wagon and put the 5.2 in.

That seemed reasonable when I got there ave 17 max 20, so went with the 6.2 on the 55cm board and 25@40/60 fin

2 good planning runs, in an hour and a half. First run was the best , sucked me out to the end of Pt grey, then the wind died, I then had a long float back to the car park, when another gust can=me through, that was the 2nd and 3rd runs run after that it died again, so I walked back in. After I de rigged it came back of course and Waricle, who'd rigged for the conditions looked to be going well.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU CA66 Loft RB 5.6 Pepe delta 21.5 mostly sunny on a falling tide with a recalcitrant breeze. Shared the frustration with Hardie, Rob and Decrepit. We’re not in Albany any more Toto...

Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU

Another good SE cruising the canals of Sticks Boulevard.  Only got out later in the afternoon and the wind was a bit up and down but was pretty good while it was up. Currents were stronger than I expected but still a fun day.
