6119 days ago Quick blast at Woodies with Ado.
Total Aquapac and hence Navi failure (the display has fogged up and there were water droplets on the SD when I extracetd it). It shut down towards the end of the session. Can't get the file to run on RSpeed - I've requested that professor Snides examine it.
I have posted my garmin track with realspeeed analysis but have used the garmin display as the 2 sec, not the realspeed calc [39.135].
Woodies was a bit wild out the back and by the time the kites left I was spent.
Good going Ado on the numbers and great work Tim Stockton on your raging session at Hardies - well done mate - You probably topped my bill for the day.
20/02/08 - 2 sec, 5 x 10 and hour are Doppler from GPS Results - thanks for this Snides!

i spent half an hour on alphas to find out all of them missed the 50m proximity on recalc at 55m i had 1 at 27.5 something min speed on gybe of 18.88knots never mind better luck next time well stoked with the mile though
edit: just discovered i short changed my self on the hour, guess i got sloppy at 10.00pm down loading after a 1.5hr drive back from hardies...

6119 days ago 2 categories sweet sail today, finally got a mandurah day which suited me! V happy with that. hit the water @ about 1pm while it was still light and racked up some distance on RSR5.8/F2sxs/elmo23.5weed, before changing to the missile and downhauling the crap out of the rsr when snides and elmo arrived, and the wind went to 20-30. Got a little faster from there, 38.6, 38.9, 38.?, 37.9, 39.0+a massive wipeout @ 38.8 on track.
well..... ended in knee deep water, so was happy to be wearing the helmet/impact vest there.. my knee (i think) decided to reduce my sail size during the crash so the session ended there with a massive rip through the Xply at the sail foot, and into the sleeve... ah well i suppose chad can have some fun with it now..

6119 days ago No Swedish bikini babes today, just the real deal! Woodies with PD, solid 30 knots (and then some) 2008 KA Koncept 5.8 (oh so sweet), Carbon Art SP44 and KA Lockwood/ McDougall 23 symetric. Took the Tabou Manta 59 out initially for a max of 36.52 on the dial, then grabbed the CA. My arms blew up first run so was struggling to cling on, but managed to do so just enough to grab a couple of PBs, and more importantly, get our team back into top spot! Woohoo! (max on the dial was 38.46).

6119 days ago nice arvo at Pt Walter. Wind was very gusty- even more than usual. Made the NWerlies in the carpark at Sandy Pt look like superb speed conditions. It was gusting to mid 20s- maybe a bit more. Not planing a lot of the time on 6.6m. Impossible for good alphas since there was never 250m of wind over 10 knots. Anyway, my SP50 23KA symmetric (port tack) and the 6.6m Koncept felt great. Good to see a bunch of team challengers down there today.
Hey addo- you were a bit quick to assume top spot mate! Hope PD and snides can help prop up a few of the scores... well done on your PBs but- and Tim!
PS I posted doppler speeds. Trackpoints:
2sec: 41.477, 5x10: 39.54

6119 days ago 2 categories Sailed at Pelican point for a while, very choppy so took of upwind to Melville beach to find smoother water, Isonic 86, 6.1 sail & 29cm F1, the run back to Peli was fun as the wind picked up to 25knt with the odd 30knt gust.

6119 days ago Sailed up to Pt Walter at about 4:15 on the Falcon with the 6.6. Breeze started to pick up and decided to switch over to the Centurion which felt better in the stronger gusts. I was disappointed that I couldn't equal or better the 36.9 that I got last time on the Falcon but it was a great sail.
I picked up a KA Koncept 5.8 tonight - I am looking forward to trying it out - maybe later in the week.

6119 days ago A quick blast at pt walter. 5.8 was a bit underdone 6.6 would have been a better choice. Hopefully I will get on the water a bit more this year.
Set up was 5.8 Koncept,Tabou Manta 59 and 28 Falcon.
