5912 days ago Melville Beach to start then sailed down to Pelican pt then followed slowy to PT Walter ,got one lucky gust there for the 35.34 then started back for MB and had the head rip of a screw on one of my front foot straps, minus a strap and trying to avoide the jagged 20mm long screw shank still sticking out of the deck made going off the breeze very difficult, got to the beach to find Ado heading to hospital to show a doctor his asymetric nose, the SRM injury list grows!

5912 days ago 2 categories Gusty day on the swan. 6.6m CL29 SP50. Tacked up to walter but it was crap so back to Melville. Saw some of the SRM out there. John N, Dan, Matt, Snides (later) and of course Ado- who had a "tabou moment" and did some cosmetic modifications to his face... he wasnt pretty to start with so I'm sure this is not going to help.

5912 days ago short sweet sess..rolled up after all the carnage took place. slowy offered me his new ca50 to play with so i decided to float out and see if i could catch any gusts. turns out 10mins after Chris left the wind went s/west and picked up,spent an hour on the melville flats in some patchy sunlight and gusty winds and floating weed clumps for a very enjoyable sail.

5912 days ago Yeah!!! Nice session on the Swan with a few team mates in 15-25 knots with the Manta 49, 5.8 Koncept and 26 Falcon. Best runs were on port tack weaving through the troughs straight off the beach. Survived a few spinouts unharmed but it all ended rather abruptly at speed of 30.66 knots when I spun out in some ragged chop, dug the leeward rail and slammed face first into the boom - BOOM! A fair bit of claret was spilled and my nose is pointing a bit South, but all other faculties are intact and I'll be back in action on the next windy day. Thanks to Lao Shi, John & Slowy for helping out with my gear.
