Average kind of day at Sandy Point. The wind started from WNW then gradually swung more south after lunch to WSW then even SW later, about 20knots increasing to 25knots or so later. Good speeds from some of the other Pit Crew and hopefully enough wind today (Monday) for some more good data. The front was forecast all last week to hit on Monday and a number of the team arranged leave for today, then by last Friday the wind peak shifted forwards to Sunday.

Started on JP 96L Super-X with Tushy 5.2 X-15 then switched to Lorch DivS 63L speed board when the wind became south enough to use the speed run. Wrecked my boom clasp on a catapault and bashed my knuckles on the mast on a later one! Yell Quite stiff and swollen today.

Good to see Macquarie Innovations running again and peaking at over 50knots but very sad to see it capsize on the second run and sustain some damage. Luckily no injuries to the crew.

5.8Kncpt CA44 23KAsym, Just enough wind to get into the 40's when the tide turned, MI providing good viewing as it screamed past with the pilot pod bouncing along where the water meets the sand, pity about their 2nd run though looked like it was going to crank a 40 knot Alpha.

Nice day with a few runs in between watching MI have a good run and then a good crash

20-25 knots WSW to SW. Wind picked up later to solid 25 knots but also went very south making the course too tight. Speed runs on CA40 with KA 20 assy and Starboard iSonic 50 with TM45 V7. Sail '09 KA Koncept 5m. Alphas on iSonic 87 with KA 30cm Slalom fin.
