Boombuster (66243km): Got down Wello early after Vando told me to get down there but he didnt wait for me he was out by the time I got down the beach. Wind was very light 1st few runs where a wollow & I fell in on the 1st gybe out in the midle of the bay & floated around for 15min trying to water start not good but it picked up & ended up having a good sail it was the 1st bit of wind for 2 & a half week up here at Bris. Albert P. Jonsson (11746km): Wello. Got down there late though. Only had an hour and a half before the sun was setting, but I was planing most of the time and the best sailing was in the end when it blew consistantly and I never stopped till I got in. Got my first birdie in the morning and almost a pb for the hour in the afternoon. Not a bad days hobbying Stealth 7.5, Falcon 111 and a Select fin 40.
Vando (58438km): Big gear sailing with Glynn alomst felt like spring today
Sausage (22853km): Unexpected NE around 15 to 18 knots. Unfortunately could only go for a quick run due to social committment. Haven't sailed a North easter for some time and starboard tack was blinding with afternoon sun reflecting off water (that always makes it look a lot more windy than what it is). iS122, CRed 7.7, 40cm Drake ProSlalom |
