GISW-official competition day .15-18 knots - Exo 103 RSS 7.2 Venom 38 .

Beautiful day -the Northern Run was a spectacular site at low tide -crystal clear water ,smooth +++.but lacking sufficient wind to "make it happen".

25knots at low tide would be amazing.!!

Jodie took ~1000 photos today so will post on GISW web site soon

Greatday for pleasant sailing. Enjoyed the warm clear water, great company. Bit more wind would help but not looking to good at this stage.

Plenty of walking involved from the room to the beach, the beach to the water (low tide) and back. Great for the leg muscles.

Thanks Sailpilot, it was a perfect day to get the hour. There were only two of us on the water in the middle of the day so I just kept going. I should have tried a bit harder, I almost got you on the hour.

If I'd been keen and done some runs to Arlington Reef I could have improved my distance PB.

Cam, Kel and Rossco are staying on the island but Firie and Ben will be there from Wednesday.

Yeah Vando, It's almost always a nice day at Green even when the wind is light.

Very impressive results from Green Island, considering there was a very light breeze in Cairns today. Surprised

Was planning to windsurf over today on big gear, leaving early. I'll try again tomorrow. Laughing
