Started as an ordinary session, first run had a bad dismount onto a shallow sandbank. (sore ankle again) Couldn't put the brakes on in time, then abused by fisherman in boat.

Got on water about 2.30pm, tide still high was having trouble getting anything more than about 28 knots.  Bit under powered at times with the 5.3m.  Thought about giving it away around 4pm when everyone else was packing up.  Decided to stay as water getting flatter, (and storm closer)  Got my best time at 4.53pm, so very happy I stayed.  Another 32 on the screen (32 in trackpoints) so close but the gust stopped and I was running out of water.  So happy to have got a PB in not ideal gusty conditions.

Drove home with the lighting in the distance, is now raining outside, great end to the day as super dry here and water tank getting very low.

Congratulations for all the PBs.

Kellie you're creeping closer to 32 all the time.  What's the next milestone after that - the 35 knot club?  Better start eating your weetbix for that!  Great work.

Great stuff. Must have been a good day. Haggar the horrible and myself we at Queens beach in incredibly lumpy conditions. I practiced going flat out in the swell for racing today at Wynnum. I'll put the Gps on today just in case. Haggar is getting pretty fast. I think we'll see more PB's this season. A great start on this session. Hope that boom wasn't to new ERIC.

Great times everyone.
