Not sure to happy or down right pieved at myself...got to Manly at 5.15pm, rigged on a freshening breeze.  set up felt really good with the wind at about 15-18knts.  Took off...yehhhaa all good, good gybe, the only one as it would turn out, PB alpha, pushing up wind for a run down hill for a NM, bear away.. WHOAAAAA this wind has now picked up to a solid 18-22knts..all ok bear away to gybe, REALLY GUSTY.. oppps.... = broken mast, trashed sail (torn leach and complete middle panel destruction), bent boom, very cut arm.

Swim to shore, many expletives mentioned on the way...... trying to be happy with the alpha, but really struggling
