Nice little fun early session at Safety Bay. Was on the water at 8am to take advantage of the early breeze. Only two kites out and two other windsurfers. Managed to have a few nice runs into the 'Pond" when the kites were out of the way. Best speeds in that area. Tide was low, weed bank was too shallow to attempt anything over that. Spent some time also trying for a few alphas and I think that might have paid off today Laughing Would have kept going, was having a bit of fun but had commitments and energy levels were low. Nice fun session. Should be some good numbers coming out of WA today. Good to meet Jason from WA Surf as well.

Congrats to JC on the PB!

Early arvo sesh at Woodies for me - mostly out the back and all around in the rough stuff, and today was very rough! The wind had been blowing since yesterday evening from WSW and there was crazy chop coming from every direction! Very tough on the legs but good training I guess.

Manta 59, North Warp 7.0 and Le Sam weedy.

The alpha with TP was 24.88 BTW - a whole knot different on the same gybe!

Went to Hardies reasonably early [on the water about 11.30]. Toyed around on the iSonic 122 and 7.5 Koncpet for while with the 42 Talon and then 43 Select Evo. Wind was very gusty initially going from being at the tip top of the 7.5 range to sub planing! Went for an hour on the big kit and got a 22.4. Note to self - never use such a powerful fin [43 select] when sailig cross wind for 6-8km runs - quivering back leg syndrome results!

Had some lunch and changed down to 64 Manta, 6.6 Koncept 2010 and 34 Talon. Hit the water with Hardie [with the intention of going the hour] just as the breeze booted in a bit. Had another painful hour - heavy going pretty much fully charged on the 6.4. The SXS/32 Talon would have been a better option.

Good to sail with Bender, Hardie, Daryl, Claude, Decrep, Adam and Elmo before duty called him! Solid efforts all round!

Claude [on a 6.5] was still going when I left - he'll make my 116km look pathetic! He was machining!!

thought I'd test the water again after my paper cut sprung a leak last week. Went to woodies. Good turnout. Ado, Langer, Greg, Lao and a few other guys doing some runs. Used the 7m RSR, SP53 and CL28sl. Pretty choppy and a bit light on the wind behind the sandbar. The wind seemed to be picking up toward the end. Tried the CA SL55 in case its windy at lano. Seemed to hit a wall compared to the speed board, but with a nice gust I got a 37 on the dial. On the way back through the chop on the south side I got a good gust and pushed it to over 35. Hard to stop! Had a crack at some gybes but I think the fin was a bit small for the sail to be powering out and back upwind. One day I will get set up for some alpha action- perhaps a hardies mission... Trackpoints show just under 26 for a couple of gybes... about a knot more than doppler.

Hardies today expecting lots of wind so went for an early start , wind up and down with big holes made it quite frustrating , it did pick up late afternoon so tried for the 1hr but too spent from the mornings grovelling session ,  Pete and a handful of MM's joined in the fun.

Looking forward to seeing Claudes post, as I drove away from Novarra at 3.20 I saw him flying acros the bay, I stopped and watched because he was going faster than seemed possible, it was not an optical illusion, he was absolutely hammering alongCool
