500m = 33.7 knots

Wind ~ 18 - 25 knot SW

Board ~ 48cm/ 65 L speed (Stolen)

Fin ~ 24cm Alloy CNC Milled (Stolen)

Sail ~ 6.4 KA Koncept

Looked a promising day, use the above gear for 1 run & thought sail was too big, so change to smaller gear to try the new speed machine,

Board ~ 43cm/ 60 L speed

Fin ~ 20cm KA assy

Sail ~ 4.9m KA Koncept

Board & fin worked perfectly, fli thru the chop reaching at 30+ knots effortless, only when going down wind the sail was way too small & would stall due to the lack of wind.

On top of my wrong gear selection, some old couple walked of with my board that I left under the BHB yacht club while I was out sailing using the 43cm board.

Stolen board, that is terrible Michael. I often leave a board and or sail on the grass where we launch and am glad to see it there when I return. How hard is it for people to leave stuff alone they do not own. hope you get it back.

Thanks Evets,

Bit of detective work & found the culprits without resorting to the security cameras.

Never thought gear could be uplifted under the yacht club where general public do not walk due to the harsh environment.

Glad to have my stainless steel bolts & alloy fin back, board was not too worried about as it was due for retirement.
