Just one of those days. Arrived early at Mandurah. Rigged 5.5 Overdrive only to find bottom panel damage. Rigged 6.5 Overdrive but it wouldn't sit quite right. Went out anyway. Deck plate kept slipping. Came in twice before it was sorted.

Worked my way over to the Pinjarra side with the aim of doing a long semi downwinder and then THE WIND DROPPED. Sat on the board from 10.02 till 12.46 barely moving. The highlight being the pod of dolphins that swam by. Could almost touch them.

Finally the wind picked up enough to get back to Novara. Brayden got back and waited till there was enough windand came back out as I was coming in.Got my NM then with a gybe in it as well but I had had enough fun by then so we packed up and left. I hope he did better than me in the afternoon.

Isonic 76, 6.5 Overdrive, 30 weed.

Brayden sailed about 25k before the wind dropped and the rest in the afternoon Slappa. Dont know what time Brayden left.

I reckon I did as much in the tinnie looking for Jet. Should have taken a GPS. Theres a hell of a lot of water in that estuary and I couldn't believe I couldn't find him. The Big + is that 8 boats stopped to ask if he was OK. Quicker than the LOC if you were in trouble.

Its really flat over in Claudesville. The chop was only 50/100 mm high.I thought I was having engine trouble from the vibration off the chop.Embarassed  Water less than a meter deep.
