Interesting session at Melville...wind very gusty but the 8.1 felt really stable in even the strong gusts. Good to see many of the team out.

Packed up when the thunderstorm threatened...hope you guys who went out later got some reasonable runs.

Exocet Cross 104L with Demo 7.5M Tushy T4 & later the 7.0M T-bird all with a 36cm F2 fin.

Nice sailing the 7.5M early on before the wind picked up then it became a handfull.

Nothing really felt right today but that happens sometimesFrown

A bit wierd sailing through warm patches of air, a strange day with the lightning etcSurprised

Futura 111, Lightning 7.8, Choco 36 - Went shopping this morning and came home with a new F111, instead of the F122. Very happy with the board, it felt great on the 7.8 compared to last years 122. Got powered up occasionally.... I think some might be in need of a Cockburn Cement delivery!! SurprisedLaughingLaughing Actually the 6.5m2 would of been a better choice, but the 7.8 held up OK and I was keen try it on the F111.

Tried a sail at crabland again.  Never much wind when I get there. Alot of standing around and talking with only a small crew of sailors out. There was a 15 min of good wind just after the thunder clouds passed. I had de rigged by then so missed it.

Washing machine sale on at Pelican Point.  All the sales reps were out on the water. Wake jumping most of the day. Not much to show for all the changes.  Couldn't even brush up on my french, italian and german language skills.

Average day.
