Got out around 11am which gave me a good run into a 2ish low tide, with not many out for the first hour or so as most walked across to the surf.

Chased speed at the start and then concentrated on Alphas which made it joyousSmile

RSR 5.8,CA SL55,Venom 30.

Sailed at Area 48 today with the Inverloch crew. Lots of fun.Broke a boom sailing back up wind Yell Thanks Tony for bringing a spare one out. Mick and Doug i think were trying some new tactics to keep me off the water Tongue outSpent a lot of the time teaching a few in the art of turning around, with Simon almost geting it all the way round. Lots of mud banks to work off down there, but still looking for that perfect nm run.I went for a long run up wind in search of some new spots, found some and lots of shallow mud flats.Just have to keep trying. AB,Ka 7.5 for the morning CA40,Ka 6.6 for the arvo. The 5.8 should be all fixed and back home this week

Great day with the inverloch crew - thanks Doug, Mick and everyone for organising / being there.

Got some great speeds - mostly on iSonic 122 but swapped to Sonic 85 for no real gain.  Stealth 6.5m.  Unfortunately I am not a good judge of the 50m diameter for Alphas and all the ones I thought I was doing didn't count!!!  instead they were from the other end of the run where I wasn't trying so hard.  Either way some good practice and some exploring....  Very tired on way home.  Cool

Thanks vando you've gotta love those Alphas,I had great east bank conditions for them today, powering in then feeling like I'd pulled a tight sweet gybe into gnarly pointing fin floating acceleration on the way out - to leave me driving all the way home wondering about the Alpha mystery bagTongue out

Didn't anyone sail Sandy on Saturday? Was it windy? I was at Frankston trying to shoot Skeet and it was gusting 25-30 knots Easterly!!! (I held up my annemometer on the field) We were getting knocked off balance having trouble stanging on the shooting station and the targets were curving back towards us in the wind and .......attacking US! Surprised Had to either blast them to dust or duck for cover. It was self defense your Honour.... really. Laughing

I certainly thought I was in the wrong place doing the wrong sport!!!??? But maybe it didn't hit the PiT?

VERY NICE ALPHA SHELBY!

DAFFY YEP I WAS AT THE PIT LOOKING FORWARD TO 25+ BUT IT NEVER REALLY GOT OVER 20KNOTS AND THEN AS THE TIDE CAME IN IT STARTED TO IMPROVE. I LOOKED AT THE PROM READINGS AND IT WAS VERY WINDY IN THE NIGHT. DAMN. POSTING THE SESSION SOON.

GOT SOME NICE FAST GYBES IN BUT YOU DIDN'T MISS ANYTHING REALLY.
