While running back up the course, almost to the car park when bang and a swim happened. A new three piece X6 mast was born. Very lucky it wasn,t when i was a SP "B" or on the days sailing there on a charging out going tide. Would have lost the whole rig if I was lucky. The tide runs at about 10kts with lots of bitey,s for fun. Another mast was made, (Old NP with a Killwell top)and the 7.5 didn,t look too bad and performed quite well. Much better than the AB,s fin I,ve found that if you do lots and lots of k,s the fin may not like it and develope a lean to the left of about 30mm. Works all right one way,but the other is crap, so i,m on the hunt for a new mast and fin. The list never gets finished. Still beats a day at work. Had Tom,Mal for most of the day, also joined by 2 other sailors and 2 kiters who wanted the walk their kites back up the run while the kites rested on the water Shelby joined later for 2 runs before the wind went away. Top speeds on the Kids Pro S with the Ka 6.6 and Torquay fin, every thing else AB with special bent fin and Ka 7.5
