Langstone Harbour summer sailing at its warmest, 3 hours sailing in rash vest and shorts, Aloha! now that don't happen often, could of gone quicker on smaller kit. 8.4 rs racing and FF124 sweet combo.

4 hours on the gps not always planing but went for bit of wonder out the harbour and down to overcoombe for a drink, hmmm me thinks that was a bad idea wind ended up with a lot more holes in it but made it down there in the end (just under 4 miles if you go as the crow flies) then started thinking wether i could make it back? but went for it anyway Reg joined me to see if i was ok flying solo this far out to sea is not a good idea normally but i'm full of those.

Anyway for those that know Portland breakwater its a bast&rd to beat through the gates when its windy and it wasn't!(the wall stands quite high so lots of lulls) so more problems but  eventually made it without to many problems.

Made it back to the beach in the end but what a journey in light winds. sigh

Falcon 105, 7.7m point 7 and 37 select.

Looks like Ian done good nice one, Normski you wont forget again and as for the sleeping giant Matrix you gotta start reading it better bud never say die i know its annoying whith us whippets but you will get your moment i hope we all do saying that...

Cheers El Squirrell was up and down all day really, the morning was the best shout but we all thought there was going to be an afternoon seabreeze to kickstart a good wind. nevermind at least we got out.Smile

There wasn't much wind up here either. It didn't even seem worth rigging big slalom kit so I opted for lightwind freestyle instead.

Maybe some wind on Thursday...
